Commentaire figurant au dos de la pochette : "On the west and south-west coasts the manner of tunny-fishing has hardly changed since Phoenicien times. The kill is preceded by a ritual leader-chorus shanty, the 'scialoma', as up to a hundred men haul in the big net and count the strength of the coming massacre. The non-musical screams come from 'rais', the chief whip, who occasionally launches into splendid obscenities".

Enregistrement sur le terrain par James McNeish entre 1960 et 1964.
