"Ce rythme en 10 temps est qualifié de Jurjuna en Irak et Aqsaq en Turquie, ce qui signifie « boiteux ». La base des rythmes aqsaq ou lang est le 5 temps, très courant au Tadjikistan, Baloutchistan et Kurdistan. Dans le cas présent il ne s’agit pas de 2 x 5 temps,
mais d’une formule asymétrique : — u — /— — u Une fois assimilée, cette formule peut aisément devenir un modèle
mélodico métrique adaptable à tous les modes, et finalement, une base d’improvisation, à la façon d’un kereshme. Dans ce cas également, le tempo affecte profondément la mélodie.
