"Deux pièces : a) Chant de jeu tafaonga sukisuki, titre : Omamai, o mamai; b) Chant de danse onga, titre : Fakatu ake fasi kumete.
Le choeur de six hommes s'accompagne d'un tambour à fente pate et de frappements de mains. a) Parties en recto tano (une seule hauteur de note) et en sprechgesang (récitation sans hauteurs fixes); b) sprechgesang. Dans la deuxième pièce, les chanteurs accélèrent le tempo.
Le texte concerne a) une dispute entre les dieux sur l'appartenance de l'île de Niutao ; b) un concours de fabrication de plats sculptés en bois."

The chorus of six men is accompanied by a small wooden slit-drum, pare, and by hand-clapping. a) Parts are in monotone, others in sprechgesang (recitations without fixed pitches) ; b) sprechgesang. In the second piece, the singer accelerate the tempo.
The texts concern : a) a dispute among the gods on the sharing of the island of Niutao ; b) a competition on the making of carved wooden plates."
