| Dotâr of Transoxonia. Gozal Muminova |
(Cf. Jean During, In Livret de présentation) | CNRSMH_E_2008_001_001 |

| Compositions persanes de Jean During |
32 Compositions persanes innovantes de Jean During. "The present collection includes Iranian compositions by Jean During, the renowned French ethnomusicologist. These metric pieces are composed in traditional Dastgahs and Avaz-s, and from the aspects of structural aesthetics and musical expression are mainly based on ancient rhythms which are not commonly used in Iranian music these days. In fact the composer has made an effort to compose these pieces with inspiration from the artistic music of central Asia and Turkish and Arabic music, without breaking the rules of Iranian Dastgahi music."
