"Ce chant n'est ni un tasnif ni un âvâz-e zarbi et relève peut-être d'un ancienne forme persane, c'est pourquoi on l'a qualifié de naqsh. L’inspiration initiale du thème m’est venue subitement, sans effort, en lisant un poème de Rumi. Cette première version a été exploitée il y a une vingtaine d'années par un groupe iranien. Plus tard, je l’ai révisée et développé, puis l'Ensemble Navâ de Doushanbé l'a interprétée en concert dans le style tadjik. (Chant par J. Ergashev, târ par J. During, tanbur, ney et dâyre de Transoxiane.)"

"This song is not a tasnif or an āvāz-e zarbi and maybe an ancient Persian form, which is why they called it naqsh. The initial inspiration of the theme came to me suddenly, effortlessly, reading a poem by Rumi. This first version has been performed twenty years ago by an Iranian group. Later, I reconsidered and expanded it, and in 2008 the Navā Ensemble of Dushanbe performed it in concert in the Tajik style (Vocals by J. Ergashev, tār by J. During, tanbur, ney and dāyre of Transoxiana.)"
