"Comme il existe très peu de pièces mesurées (zarbi) dans les dastgâh Râst-Panjgâh et Navâ, j’ai travaillé à plusieurs compositions dans ces modes. La forme de cet aghir aqsaq (boiteux lent) est encore une fois celle d’un saz samâ’i ottoman, mais elle se plie uniquement au style persan, en abordant les principales phases du développement de Râst-Panjgâh. Les contraintes rythmiques et mélodiques sont dans ce cas plus difficiles à surmonter que dans
d’autres formes. (Santur, ‘ud, kamânche, zarb.)"

"Since there are very few classical measured pieces (zarbi) in dastgāh Rāst-Panjgāh, I worked through several compositions in these modes. The shape of this Aghir aqsaq is again that of an Ottoman sāz samā'i, but it follows the Persian models, quoting the major phases of Panjgāh-Rāst. In this case, rhythmic and melodic constraints are more difficult to overcome than in other forms. (Santur, ‘ud, kamānche, zarb.)"
