- Description (par J. During):
"Five beats tunes are rare in traditional Persian music, while the Tajik bards commonly sing Hāfez or Sa'di on this rhythm kept ostinato by the small lute dotārche. The basic melody is taken from the naghme of the radif, but it has been arranged, developed and fitted in 5 beats instead of 4 or 6. (Kamānche, setār, 'ud, zarb.)"
