Polyphonie à trois parties composées 1) d'une secunda : voix soliste ayant un rôle dominant, entonnant le texte et réalisant de nombreux ornements (rucada) ; 2) d'une terza (à la tierce supérieure) à fonction ornementale, et 3) d'une bassa fournissant les principaux appuis de tonalité.
Se chante en compagnie et dans des rapports d'amitié."
