"Chant de travail alterné, xi.
Ce type de chant de la minorité ethnique des Nùng An est normalement exécuté en alternance par deux garçons et deux filles. lci, on n'entend que les voix de deux jeunes garçons. La première voix commence sur la tonique ; puis quelques secondes plus tard la seconde voix de même intensité et de même timbre la rejoint à l'unisson. La première voix chante par la suite deux degrés distants d'une tierce mineure, tandis que la seconde voix chante une mélodie entre la tonique et la quinte, ce qui crée des intervalles de quinte, quarte, tierce et seconde avant de terminer la phrase musicale à l'unisson. Ces deux voix exécutent une montée graduelle au cours du chant.
Le texte de ce chant raconte les difficultés et les joies de la vie quotidienne."

This type of song of the Nùng An tribal people is normally performed by two boys and two girls in alternance. Here, we hear only the voices of two boys. The first voice begins on the tonic ; then some seconds later the second voice joins him at the same volume and timbre, at the unison. The first voice then sings at two degrees distant, ie a minor third, while the second voice sings a melody between the tonic and the fifth, which results in intervals of fiths, fourths, thirds and seconds, before the final unison.
