Exemple de voix flamenca, dont l'âpreté et le caractère sombre est résumé par l'adjectif negra, "noir". Une voix negra comprend des impuretés intentionnelles. On notera en outre l'important travail du chanteur sur les voyelles, au point qu'on pourrait parler, par moments, de "mélodie de timbres".
Chanté habituellement dans les tablaos de flamenco, lieux spécialisés pour la musique, lors de juergas (fêtes flamencas).

Example of the flamenco voice, whose pungency and dark character are summed up the adjective negra, "black". A negravoice contains a number of intentional impurities. One will note, as well, the importance of the treatment of the vowels by the singer, to the point where one might speak , at times, of a "melody of timbres.
