"Appels de labour, ou "raudage", par Fernand Bordage, agriculteur, menant deux paires de boeufs attelés à un tombereau et se rendant aux champs.
Succession improvisée d'interjections en glissandi alternant avec des appellations ou des ordres (ex.:"Debout là-bas "), et conclue par un bref air sifflé. Les noms des boeufs, groupés par paires, sont en partie imaginaires :"Compagnon", "Libertin", "Printemps", "Bas blancs", "Viens-tu", "Trinquer", "Baladin", "Concurrent". Leur multiplicité vise à suggérer un attelage de plusieurs paires de boeufs.
La voix est claire et sonore : elle s'épanouit dans un espace ouvert. Chaque séquence utilise un ambitus restreint, mais l'émission vocale change constamment, tenant à la fois du crié et du chanté, et suggérant par endroit une analogie avec le meuglement des animaux."

An improvised succession of interjections and glissandi alternating with names or with commands(eg. "Debout là-bas!" or "Giddap, there!), ending with a snatch of whistled tune. The names of the oxen, also paired, are partly iaginary : Compagnon, libertin ("Mate", "Rake") ; Printemps, Bas Blancs (Sprintime, White stocking) ; Viens-tu, Trinquer (Come-hither, Boozer) ; Baladin, Concurrent (Actor, Rival). Their multiplicity would lead one to imagine a team of many pairs of oxen.
The voice is clear, sonorous and resounds in the open air. Each sequence employs a restricted range, but the vocal emission constantly changes, going from "shouted" to "sung", suggesting here and there an analogy with mooing attle."
