Forfort, un troubadour mahorais, joue du hochet en radeau m’kaiamba et du luth kabossa d’origine yéménite. Ses chants ont surtout une couleur africaine avec des textes en shiboushi – dialecte d’origine malgache – et en shimaore – dialecte d’origine swahilie.
