"Chant de gloire, tayuk (tay, litt. "g1oire"). Titre : "Je chante pour le monde".
Semi-improvisation mélodico-poétique chantée en solo, tantôt mesurée, tantôt non mesurée. Le chanteur de tayuk apprend dès l'enfance, par un parent proche, à utiliser diverses techniques d'émissions telles que le cou de glotte et la trémulation laryngée (kolerach) et le vibrato serré.
Le tayuk célèbre la victoire ou se consacre à la louange."

Semi-improvised, melodico-poetic, sung solo, sometimes metrical, sometimes not.
The singer of the tayuk learns as from infancy, through a near relative, to use diverse vocal emissions such as the glottal stop and the laryngeal tremulation (kolerach), and rapid vibrato. See the sonagram, figure 8.
The tayuk may celebrate a victory, or concern itself with praising."
