- «Un soir, à la campagne. Au pied d'une maison en construction, à la chaleur d'un feu, des paysans d'Antanifotsy - quatre flûtes (sodina) et deux tambours (lagoroana et apongabe) - jouent. Ils interprètent une musique que l'on entend traditionnellement au cours des cérémonies de famahadiana (retournement des morts) et de circoncision. Âgé de soixante-cinq ans, Rainitovo, le soliste du groupe est un virtuose.» (Cf. Livret de présentation)
