Notes de Jessica de Largy : "Hommes et femmes possèdent leurs propres séries de chants Djarada qu'ils interprètent toujours séparément. Ces chants sont associés aux femmes mythiques munga munga qui accompagnaient la "mère fertilité" (Kunapipi) qui donna naissance aux humains et aux autres espèces. Ces chants dits d'amour s'accompagnaient d'échanges sexuels cérémoniels. "
