"Chant dshambukware par Ndukabre (dshambu est le nom de l'emblème totémique, en forme d'oiseau, d'un clan).
Ce chant d'hommes est caractérisé par une voix de "Strohbass" (cf Glossaire) dans l'extrême grave.
Chaque clan possède un chant dshambukware particulier. Celui-ci est exécuté en l'honneur de l'ancêtre clanique Tipmanggero.
Formé uniquement de voyelles, ce chant ne comportent pas de paroles."

"Dshambukware song, performed by Ndukabre (dshambu is the name of the totemic emblem, in the form of a bird, of a clan).
This men's song is sung with a "Stroh-bass" voice (see Glossary) in the deep bass.
Each clan has its unique dshambukware song. This one is performed in honour of Tipmanggero, one of the clans ancestors.
Comprised only of vowels, this song has no words."
